The Waldegrave Ensemble established itself in 2009 as a flexible ensemble of wind, strings, piano, harp and brass, with a wind quintet at its core. The Ensemble has spread their passion for chamber music, bringing a wide variety of works to audiences in greater London and the South-East.

Following last year’s immensely popular Bubbly River concert at St Mary’s Parish Church in Baldock in aid of Revivel.org here is a chance to attend an exciting afternoon concert.
The programme pieces by The Ivel Piano Quartet including Fauré’s piano quartet no. 1 in C minor, an exquisite masterpiece.
The concert will raise money for The RevIvel Association to help care for Baldock’s unique chalk stream at the upper Ivel. www.RevIvel.org

The Norwich Philharmonic Society was established in 1841 and has remained at the heart of the city’s musical life ever since. With a full-size symphony orchestra and a mixed chorus of some 120 voices, the Society performs a wide repertoire of large-scale works, joined by guest soloists of the highest calibre. ‘The Phil’ performs four concerts of choral and/or orchestral music each season, plus a very popular Family Christmas Concert.
